International Consultant – Capacity Building for HiAPs & HIA

About the role
The World Health Organization in Jordan seeks an International Consultant to design and deliver a Training‑of‑Trainers (ToT) programme on Health in All Policies (HiAPs) and Health Impact Assessment (HIA). The consultant will build a pool of national experts able to cascade HiAP and HIA knowledge across health and non‑health sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a modular curriculum (≈5 modules) aligned with WHO’s HiAPs Training Manual and global HIA guides, adapted to the Jordanian context.
- Deliver a hybrid ToT programme (online and face‑to‑face) to participants from multiple sectors, including hands‑on HIA exercises.
- Produce comprehensive training materials, facilitator notes, and evaluation tools.
- Submit a final training report and a roadmap for institutionalising HiAPs and HIA capacity in Jordan.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in health promotion, determinants of health, or community engagement.
- Advanced university degree in public health or related field (minimum first degree acceptable).
- Proven experience with digital learning platforms and online training delivery.
- Expert level English proficiency; ability to work on‑site in Amman.
Required skills
- Training and coaching expertise in HiAPs and HIA, including Training‑of‑Trainers methodology.
- Hands‑on experience with digital learning platforms and e‑learning tools.
