IT Finance Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an IT Finance Advisor who will lead the budgeting, financial reporting and procurement activities for our IT department. The role ensures accurate budget planning, monitors expenditures and drives cost‑optimization while working closely with Finance and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and validate the IT department’s annual Capex and Opex budgets across the PLC and subsidiaries.
• Monitor approved budgets centrally, prevent overspending and produce detailed reports on budget growth, deviations and variances.
• Prepare and deliver monthly and annual expense reports, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance to produce accurate forecasts and strategic plans.
• Lead cost‑reduction initiatives, contract reviews and IT procurement committee sessions ensuring policy compliance.
• Process purchase requests, track purchase orders and maintain budget records in SAPGUI, providing user support.
• Manage telecommunications expenses, ensure timely invoice payments and coordinate line activations with HR, IT and service providers.
• Continuously improve budget management processes and SAP integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT finance, budgeting and procurement, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical abilities with proven experience in financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated track record of managing budgets, controlling costs and implementing cost‑saving initiatives.
