IT Help Desk Specialist - Remote

About the role

We operate sales and support teams for several health and wellness brands that rely on Salesforce, a cloud phone system, and a business texting platform. As the IT Help Desk Specialist you will be the first point of contact for over 150 users, handling account setup, phone configuration, and support tickets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a zero‑balance help‑desk dashboard by resolving tickets, processing account requests, and monitoring system health alerts.
• Set up and remove user accounts across Salesforce, Vonage, SMS Magic, and other tools as staff join, change roles, or leave.
• Troubleshoot calling, callback, and voicemail issues, collaborating with Vonage support when needed.
• Manage business phone numbers, including assignments, releases, and spam‑label removal with carriers.
• Process privacy‑related call‑recording deletions and correct sales/order records flagged by automated checks.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or contact‑center support.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage time and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English; most communication occurs via tickets and Slack.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for the full shift (7:30 AM‑3:30 PM CT).

Required skills

• Salesforce administration (user, permission, and record management).
• Vonage or similar cloud contact‑center platform.
• SMS Magic or comparable business texting platform.
• Strong troubleshooting ability to diagnose and resolve vague technical issues.
