IT Project Manager / Scrum Master

About the role

The IT Project Manager / Scrum Master manages and coordinates IT development projects while facilitating Agile delivery practices. The role ensures that development activities run efficiently and that deliverables are achieved within the agreed scope, timeline, quality and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT development projects through planning, execution, monitoring and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocation and delivery roadmaps.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate developers, technical leads, QA, business analysts and stakeholders.
• Monitor sprint progress, milestones, team capacity and delivery commitments.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, blockers and change requests, and support Product Owners with backlog management and prioritisation.
• Ensure deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate testing, defect resolution, release planning, deployment and production handover.
• Maintain project documentation, sprint records, RAID logs and delivery reports, and share regular performance updates with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software development project management, IT project delivery or Agile delivery.
• Experience managing software development teams and SDLC activities.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, Agile frameworks and IT delivery practices.
• Preferred certifications: PMP and Professional Scrum Master.
