Junior Accountant (AR & Collections)

About the role
We are expanding our Finance team in Amman and are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to manage accounts receivable and collections for our US‑based client base. The role involves tracking outstanding receivables, following up on payments and delivering excellent service to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection.
- Communicate with clients or internal teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and organized documentation for all AR transactions.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Gather, verify and consolidate data for financial analyses and ad‑hoc reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably with accounts receivable and reporting.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work full U.S. business hours.
- Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel.
- Accounting software/systems.
