Junior Interior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our creative team. In this position you will assist senior designers in delivering functional and visually appealing interior solutions for residential and commercial projects, working closely with clients and collaborators from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support space planning activities to optimise layout and functionality.
• Apply colour theory to develop appropriate colour palettes.
• Research and select materials that meet project specifications and client preferences.
• Create sketches and digital renderings using interior‑design software.
• Collaborate with senior designers and clients to refine concepts and incorporate feedback.
• Prepare presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain organised project documentation and assist with timeline management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of space planning, colour theory and material selection.
• Excellent sketching ability to convey design concepts.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with SketchUp or similar interior‑design software.
