Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join the team at Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. You will be responsible for ensuring all guest and employee linens are clean, tidy, and ready for use while maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow supervisor instructions and uphold high standards of guest satisfaction.
• Operate and maintain laundry machines, keep the laundry area clean, dust equipment, and stack clean flat irons.
• Keep the linen room organized and ensure all linens are properly processed.
• Attend scheduled training sessions and on‑the‑job training.
• Maintain personal hygiene, wear the uniform correctly, and conduct yourself professionally.
• Perform duties common to non‑supervisory staff and support employee relations.
• Handle guest complaints and suggestions, forwarding them to the laundry manager.
• Familiarize with fire, life, health, and security emergency procedures.

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
