Laundry Valet

About the role

The Laundry Valet greets guests upon arrival, assists with safe unloading of their items, and ensures timely delivery of laundry and clothing to guestrooms. This full‑time position requires excellent guest‑service skills and a flexible schedule to meet the needs of hotel guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help unload items safely.
• Deliver clean laundry and clothing to guest rooms.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests, Front Desk, and At Your Service.
• Monitor cleanliness and appearance of laundry and dry‑cleaning areas.
• Complete valet tickets accurately and coordinate repairs.
• Follow company policies, maintain uniform standards, and protect confidential information.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and prepare written documents accurately.
• Support team goals, maintain positive relationships, and comply with quality‑assurance standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting items up to 10 lb, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping or laundry experience.
• Excellent guest‑service and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• No supervisory experience required.
