Logistics Driver – Technical Service Staff (Jordan, Amman)

About the role

The Logistics Technical Service Staff position supports NRC’s transportation operations in Jordan. The driver will safely move staff, visitors, documents and goods while ensuring vehicle readiness and compliance with NRC policies and local traffic rules.

Key responsibilities

• Transport NRC personnel, visitors, documents and materials to approved destinations.
• Maintain accurate trip logbooks using the E‑Fleet system (EFS) and tablets.
• Follow the duty roster, covering daily shifts and Band C duty rotations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good technical condition; report any issues promptly.
• Arrange repairs and servicing in liaison with the line manager.
• Ensure the vehicle has all required documents and equipment.
• Provide logistical support during trainings, workshops and loading/off‑loading activities.
• Adhere to NRC policies, safety standards and Jordanian traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum Tawjihi (or equivalent) education.
• At least 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in humanitarian or volatile contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian routes, including refugee camps.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid Category 3 driving licence with manual transmission.

Required skills

• E‑Fleet system (EFS) usage for trip reporting.
• Manual transmission vehicle operation.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection.
