Logistics Specialist – Import/Export Operations

About the role

The Logistics Specialist supports logistics operations across factories by ensuring efficient import and export processes, monitoring shipping activities and contributing to logistics cost control. The role requires a structured, detail‑oriented approach with strong execution, tracking, follow‑up and communication capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments across both factories to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams to prevent delays and reduce demurrage, detention and port storage costs.
• Maintain accurate logistics trackers, dashboards, import/export documentation, customs records and system data.
• Support freight cost analysis, invoice validation, GRIR reviews and purchase price variance checks.
• Identify and communicate shipment risks, delays and exceptions while supporting route and lead‑time optimisation.
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Production, Regulatory, Quality and Accounting teams and assist the Logistics Manager with projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
