Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at our Aqaba location. This full‑time position involves proactive patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report incidents.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements where applicable.
