Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the property, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining a secure environment. This full‑time position involves patrolling, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies in a hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and assist guests with access.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Gather information, complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all documents.
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, handle complaints and escort unwelcome persons.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and follow proper code responses.
• Assist management in training, coaching and motivating staff while upholding company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats and inspect tools for defects.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, run, lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for handling objects of varying size.
• Willingness to work extended shifts and respond quickly to security situations.
