Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team in Aqaba. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and communicate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, lubricate, and service air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, as well as light‑bulb and filter replacements.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves and utility controls for all building equipment.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handovers.
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures before any repair work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping maintenance, including sprinkler repairs.
• Program televisions, update air‑handler schedules, and adjust temperature settings using basic computer skills.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
• Ability to follow safety policies, wear appropriate uniform, and handle confidential information.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
