Math Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in West Amman, is seeking a qualified Math Teacher to join its bilingual English‑Arabic community. You will teach mathematics across primary and secondary levels, supporting students aged 3 to 19 in a high‑quality, internationally‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons in line with the IB curriculum and school standards.
• Prepare and grade subject‑specific assessments, including written and demo classes when required.
• Participate in multiple interview stages and faculty demo sessions as part of the recruitment process.
• Read, understand and apply school policies such as Child Protection, Inclusion/SEN, Academic Honesty and Positive Behaviour Management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the Academy’s values of Creativity, Integrity, Well‑being, Collaboration, Respect, Discipline and Educational Excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
• Fluency in English; bilingual ability in Arabic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IB programme standards and practices is a plus.
