Mechanical Engineer – MEP Fit‑out Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer specialized in MEP fit‑out projects to design, oversee, and deliver mechanical systems for premium commercial and retail interiors across Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The role involves full‑cycle responsibility from concept design to final handover, ensuring compliance with regional codes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise HVAC systems, including central ducted split, VRF, and chilled water solutions for complex interior spaces.
• Calculate and detail domestic hot/cold water distribution, drainage, specialised plumbing, firefighting, and chilled water piping.
• Perform cooling load, external static pressure, and pump head calculations.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities, material submittals and technical procurement specifications.
• Coordinate with interior architects and electrical teams to detect and resolve ceiling space conflicts.
• Supervise subcontractors on‑site, manage testing, balancing and commissioning of all mechanical works.
• Ensure workmanship meets zero‑defect fit‑out standards and project specifications.
• Guarantee compliance with Saudi Building Code, Saudi Civil Defence, Jordanian National Building Codes and local municipal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active membership with the Jordan Engineers Association; Saudi Council of Engineers accreditation is a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience in interior fit‑outs or MEP contracting.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and HAP.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA standards.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.
