MEP Maintenance Assistant Manager

About the role

The MEP Maintenance Assistant Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance activities across our facilities in Irbid, Jordan. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and lifespan of all MEP assets while supporting a high‑performing maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting, fire‑alarm, generators, pumps and BMS.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures, develop corrective actions and improve maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, safety standards and company policies through regular inspections and audits.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, control operational expenses and optimise resource utilisation.
• Oversee procurement of spare parts, service contracts and vendor performance.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule maintenance engineers, supervisors and technicians, providing technical training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate external contractors, monitor service levels and recommend contract improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of MEP maintenance or facilities‑management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of local safety and building regulations.
