MEP Maintenance Assistant Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced MEP Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead and oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance activities across its facilities in Irbid, Jordan. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all MEP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, fire alarm, generators, pumps, and BMS.
• Monitor system reliability, efficiency and lifespan, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets, optimize costs, and handle procurement of spare parts and service contracts.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule maintenance engineers, supervisors and technicians, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate external contractors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of MEP maintenance or facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems, generators, pumps and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
