Mid‑Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Remote)

About the role

As a Mid‑Senior Full Stack Java Developer at Aspire you will design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern front‑end technologies. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from backend services to responsive user interfaces, and involves close collaboration with QA, DevOps, product and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based web applications and micro‑services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with front‑end applications.
• Develop responsive front‑end interfaces with React.js or Angular, using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Write clean, reusable code and follow design patterns and best practices.
• Create and optimise SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and write efficient queries.
• Perform unit, integration and API testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and solution design.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers and application deployments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product and business teams and take part in Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ and experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Hands‑on experience building micro‑services and REST APIs.
• Experience with front‑end frameworks such as React.js or Angular.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Git version control, Docker and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with JUnit/Mockito or similar testing frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and IT security best practices (ISO/SOC).
