Machine Learning Engineer (Specialist)

About the role

Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co is seeking a Specialist Machine Learning Engineer to join its data science team. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that address complex business challenges across the travel and tourism ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with data scientists to refine features and improve model performance.
• Optimize existing models for efficiency, accuracy, and cost.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot models in production environments.
• Document model designs, performance metrics, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, research, and emerging AI technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Experience with deep learning and natural language processing techniques.
• Understanding of model interpretability and explainability.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Machine learning frameworks and libraries: AWS BedRock, Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Data manipulation tools: SQL, Pandas, NumPy.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, continuous integration pipelines.
• AI/GenAI concepts.
• AWS data services: EMR, Glue, Athena.
• API design and deployment.
