Multi Property Director of IT

About the role

The Multi Property Director of IT leads the technology function for a portfolio of hotel properties and corporate offices. Reporting to the Area Director of IT, this senior leader provides strategic direction, talent development, and operational oversight to ensure reliable, secure, and innovative IT services across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day IT operations for all assigned hotels and offices.
• Represent the IT discipline on the Business Council and collaborate with operations leaders on owner relations and negotiations.
• Provide internet and network support for managed properties.
• Partner with the Area Director of IT on technology partner management, product development, and market‑specific initiatives.
• Oversee hotel acquisition IT projects, defining scope, executing plans, and ensuring minimal defects.
• Maintain accurate status documentation, scorecards, and performance metrics.
• Produce presentations, follow‑up reports, and action plans for regional and area team visits.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, driving engagement and satisfaction.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning within the IT team.

Required profile

• Hotel or Hospitality Management education, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in an associate supervisory or senior IT management role, preferably within hospitality.
• Proven experience in international assignments and exposure to global hospitality technology trends.
• Hands‑on experience with back‑of‑house and guest‑facing hospitality management systems.
• Strong project management background and demonstrated negotiation skills.
