Operations Manager – Food & Beverage (Multi‑Unit)

About the role

Mawasem, a leading franchise holding group in Jordan, is looking for an Operations Manager to lead the performance of its fast‑food restaurant portfolio. The role involves overseeing multiple locations, driving profitability, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of several restaurant branches, ensuring smooth and profitable performance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as sales, labor cost, food cost, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate Area Managers, Restaurant Managers, and their teams.
• Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs, brand standards, and operational policies.
• Drive sales growth by enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial reports, P&L statements, budgets, and operational data to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Manage labor scheduling, workforce planning, inventory, purchasing, and waste reduction.
• Maintain full compliance with food safety, HACCP, hygiene, health, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular operational audits and restaurant visits.
• Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Supply Chain on recruitment, training, promotions, and new product launches.
• Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of restaurant operations experience, including at least 3 years in a multi‑unit Operations Manager role within QSR or fast‑food.
• Proven track record of driving profitability and managing large teams.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
