Parking Operations Manager

About the role

The Parking Operations Manager oversees the daily functioning of parking facilities, ensuring safe, efficient and customer‑focused service. This role coordinates staff, equipment, revenue processes and compliance across surface lots, multi‑storey garages and valet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of surface car parks, multi‑storey car parks and valet services.
• Monitor vehicle flow, occupancy levels and operational performance.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise attendants, cashiers, control‑room operators and supervisors.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain high service standards.
• Oversee revenue collection, reconciliation and prevent leakage.
• Maintain and coordinate maintenance of automated barriers, ticketing systems, LPR systems, payment kiosks and CCTV/security equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct inspections and implement emergency procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, analyse occupancy trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Support implementation of new parking technologies and assist in site expansions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in parking operations, facilities or transport management.
• Proven experience managing teams and shift schedules.
• Familiarity with parking revenue systems and budgeting processes.
