About the role
The Eye Medical Center is looking for a Patient Accounts Officer to join its reception team. This position blends direct patient interaction with core financial and accounting duties, ensuring accurate billing and smooth financial operations within a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle patient billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to verify services rendered and resolve billing inquiries.
- Prepare regular financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and medical billing standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Prior experience in the medical or healthcare sector is preferred.
- Fluent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work effectively within a team‑oriented environment.
Required skills
- Accounting principles and practices.
- Financial record‑keeping.
- Medical billing familiarity (preferred).
