Private Arabic Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum)

About the role

AlGooru is seeking a qualified Arabic teacher to deliver full‑time, at‑home academic support for a small group of six students preparing for IGCSE and A‑Level Arabic under the Cambridge curriculum. The role involves reinforcing school lessons, providing targeted assistance in sciences and mathematics when needed, and guiding students toward successful exam outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with the IGCSE/A‑Level Arabic syllabus.
• Provide supplementary support in Sciences and Mathematics as required.
• Reinforce concepts taught at school, assist with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Develop students' Arabic grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing, literature analysis, and speaking skills.
• Utilise past papers and exam strategies to prepare students for Cambridge examinations.
• Monitor progress, give regular feedback to parents, and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying proficiency levels within the group.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arabic, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A‑Level Arabic, preferably with Cambridge curriculum familiarity.
• Knowledge of Cambridge assessment objectives, exam formats, and past‑paper mark schemes.
• Ability to work with school materials, syllabi, and teacher feedback.
• Experience in private tutoring or small‑group instruction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with school expectations.
