Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing the best price and quality for the organization’s needs. This role acts as the company’s representative in contract negotiations, builds trust with vendors, and ensures timely delivery of all materials and supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Search and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Request quotes, compare prices, and estimate cost parameters to maximize ROI.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Review products and supplies for quality compliance.
• Track inventory, delivery times, and update supplier databases.
• Ensure proper documentation of distribution and storage activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Clear understanding of procurement procedures and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
