Procurement Supervisor

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor will lead the sourcing and acquisition of raw materials for our food production operations in Amman. You will ensure a steady supply of high‑quality ingredients at competitive prices while complying with food safety standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers for raw material needs.
• Verify that all purchased materials meet quality, food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and supply‑chain risks within the food sector.
• Collaborate with quality control, production, warehouse and finance teams to prevent material shortages or disruptions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding overstocking, waste or stock‑outs.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and cost‑analysis for senior management.
• Ensure full documentation and adherence to internal procurement policies and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the FMCG/food industry.
• Proven ability to negotiate, manage suppliers and conduct price analysis.
• Strong coordination skills across multiple departments.
