Project Control Lead

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Project Control Lead to head the project controls discipline for a new container terminal. The role will be part of the project leadership team and will ensure transparent performance reporting, support decision‑making, and drive proactive project management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a single source of truth on project performance through accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop a centre of excellence for project management knowledge, tools and best practices, including lean principles.
• Lead the monitoring of leading and lagging indicators, forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication and build trust across the project team and broader APMM organization.
• Support the delivery of project value by identifying opportunities for improvement and incremental benefits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project controls or project management within large‑scale construction or terminal projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and senior business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
