QHSE Manager

About the role

The QHSE Manager will lead the quality, health, safety, and environment program for Arab Bank plc, ensuring compliance with internal standards and international ISO certifications. This role oversees vendor performance, internal audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives across all bank operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect service delivery and vendor performance.
• Create, implement, evaluate and verify KPIs for QHSE performance.
• Develop and embed QHSE frameworks in RFPs and contracts.
• Conduct internal audits, manage non‑conformances, incidents and corrective actions using root‑cause analysis.
• Design and maintain QHSE reporting structures and high‑level dashboards.
• Perform facilities management risk assessments in coordination with risk departments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 41001, ISO 55000 and related policies.
• Develop and deliver training plans, TBTs and SOPs for internal teams and service providers.
• Support ESG reporting, emergency and contingency planning, and sustainability projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QHSE management and facilities management, preferably within the banking sector.
• Strong attention to detail, data‑analysis capability and a proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Proven leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
