Quality Analyst – Regression & Integration Testing

About the role

The Quality Analyst will support the Business and Technology teams by focusing on regression testing during each release cycle. You will verify that new changes do not negatively impact existing features and help maintain high system quality through both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute detailed test scripts based on requirements, documenting defects and validating results.
• Ensure new code changes do not introduce issues into previously tested features.
• Perform positive, negative and regression test cases, logging outcomes in the defect tracker.
• Collaborate with Test Lead, developers, release managers and other teams to define testing requirements.
• Report and escalate defects for timely resolution and achieve interface certification.
• Maintain test result documentation, version history and defect logs.
• Drive defect resolution according to severity levels and meet test cycle timelines.
• Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in payments or cards domain.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect life cycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Jira (defect tracking)
• SOAPUI, Postman (Web services testing)
• SQL (basic queries)
• Agile testing approaches (TDD, BDD, ATDD)
• Selenium, JUnit, TestNG (automated testing)
• Knowledge of payment platforms (Base24, WAY4 CMS, Postilion, TIBCO, Falcon Fraud)
• Experience with ISO 8583, NDC/DDC protocols
• Systems integration testing of XML interfaces
