Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

iDoc is seeking a passionate Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join its engineering team in Amman. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and overall quality of iDoc’s AI‑powered telemedicine platform by building and maintaining automated test frameworks and performing manual testing when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
• Execute manual functional, regression, integration, API and end‑to‑end testing across web, mobile and backend applications.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases and related documentation.
• Verify bug fixes, track defects in Jira and ensure product quality before releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, release validation and QA sign‑off activities.
• Collaborate closely with product, backend, Flutter, cloud and frontend teams.
• Promote automation best practices and continuously improve testing processes and coverage.

Required profile

• 4–8+ years of professional QA experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (or similar automation frameworks).
• Manual testing expertise.
• Test plan and test case creation.
• Regression testing.
• API testing with Postman or comparable tools.
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Jira and Agile methodology experience.
