Quality Officer – Facilities Management

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Officer to lead the quality assurance function for our cleaning operations within facilities management. The role ensures that cleaning services meet the highest standards of performance, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of cleaning services.
• Verify compliance with SOPs, cleaning methods, schedules and checklists.
• Monitor quality KPIs, SLAs, inspection scores and overall service performance.
• Identify non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and oversee the Permit to Work (PTW) process for relevant cleaning activities.
• Control high‑risk tasks such as work at height, confined spaces and chemical handling, ensuring proper safety measures.
• Ensure correct handling, storage, labeling and use of cleaning chemicals in line with SDS requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, PTW, and corrective actions.
• Provide quality awareness and guidance to supervisors and operatives.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance, preferably in cleaning services or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning quality standards, KPIs, SLAs, SOPs and inspection processes.
• Practical experience with Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 (preferred) and valid Ministry of Labor certification.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
