About the role
The King Hussein Cancer Center is hiring a Radiology Technician in Amman, Jordan. The position involves performing technical radiographic procedures independently, rotating between different imaging modalities, and works 48 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment of technical detail
- Rotate between modalities, mainly general radiography, fluoroscopy and CT when needed
- Review radiological requests to determine the examination
- Use sterile technique and follow infection control guidelines
- Ensure patient safety by using special equipment correctly and following radiological hazard prevention procedures
- Maintain adequate records as directed
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology
- Good command of English
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
Required skills
- Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
