About the role
The Regional Business Development Specialist will work on‑site in Amman, driving growth for Observer Technology & Solutions across assigned regional markets. You will identify new business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and expand the company’s presence in the security and automation sector.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research, map target accounts and generate leads through calls, meetings, events and digital channels.
- Present Observer’s AI‑driven security and automation solutions to prospective clients and prepare tailored proposals.
- Support negotiations, coordinate with technical teams and ensure solutions align with customer needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, track activities in CRM and monitor competitor activity.
- Provide regular performance and forecast reports to leadership.
Required profile
- 5‑6 years of proven experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in technology, security, IoT or end‑to‑end solutions.
- Strong analytical and market research abilities to understand customer needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Amman and travel within the region as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required skills
- Comfort using CRM and productivity tools to manage accounts and report performance metrics.
