Restaurant Assistant General Manager

About the role

Noodles & Company is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead, coach and work alongside its teams in a fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environment. The Assistant GM leads a high-performing team alongside the General Manager to deliver operational excellence and welcoming guest experiences. The position is based in South Jordan, Utah.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team alongside the General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Create exceptional guest experiences and foster a welcoming, supportive environment for the team.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage restaurant team members and shift managers.
• Set clear expectations, create accountability and coach team members.
• Follow operational, inventory and food safety procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, expense control and local restaurant marketing.
• Maintain a culture of food safety and cleanliness.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of management or leadership experience (required).
• Management experience in food service, retail, hospitality or hotel operations, with restaurant management experience preferred.
• Strong conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work 45 hours per week on a variable schedule, including opening, mid and closing shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must meet physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 55 pounds, and hold any required food-safety licenses or certifications.
• Valid driver's license required; occasional driving to other locations is needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Pay range of USD 46,000 to 56,000 per year, plus quarterly bonus.
