Risk Consulting Senior Consultant to Director – MENA

About the role

Join EY’s Risk Consulting practice to help organisations across the MENA region identify, assess and manage a wide range of risks while improving governance, compliance and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk consulting engagements, assessing business, operational, technology, financial, cybersecurity and regulatory risks.
• Design and evaluate governance, risk management, compliance and control frameworks; conduct audits, maturity assessments and gap analyses.
• Develop actionable recommendations, prepare executive‑level reports and presentations, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and collaborating with multidisciplinary EY teams.
• Mentor and coach engagement team members, support business development activities and stay abreast of emerging risk trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Relevant experience in risk consulting, internal audit, enterprise risk management, GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity, financial risk management or regulatory compliance, appropriate to seniority level.
• Proven experience managing client engagements, risk assessments or transformation projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP, ISO 27001) and Arabic language skills are advantageous.
