Risk Management Associate – MENA Region

About the role

EY is seeking a Risk Management Associate to support the firm’s risk and compliance framework across the MENA region, based in Amman. You will work with client‑serving teams to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk exposure, and contribute to the firm’s second line of defense.

Key responsibilities

• Support client‑serving teams on AML, risk, and compliance matters.
• Assist regulatory compliance efforts in Jordan and other MENA locations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory compliance policies, procedures, systems, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impacts to the business.
• Execute compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and testing activities.
• Prepare regulatory and senior executive management reports.
• Support compliance audits and regulatory inspections, including remediation plans.
• Contribute to broader risk management and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualification such as ICA, ACAMS preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in operational or regulatory compliance within a professional services firm or financial institution.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and interact confidently with senior executives.
