Security Agent – Hotel

About the role

The Security Agent ensures a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff and visitors at an Accor‑affiliated hotel. You will protect people and property through regular patrols, monitoring of security systems and swift response to any incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all hotel areas, including guest floors, public spaces, back‑of‑house, parking and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm and access‑control systems and report any irregularities.
• Protect hotel assets from theft, vandalism and unauthorized access.
• Assist guests and staff, escorting them when required and addressing safety concerns.
• Respond immediately to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, disturbances or security breaches.
• Complete accurate incident, accident and shift reports; preserve evidence for investigations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, police, fire department and emergency services as needed.
• Maintain daily security logs, record lost‑and‑found items and communicate security issues during handovers.

Required profile

• Ability to conduct regular patrols and inspections throughout the property.
• Strong awareness of safety and fire‑prevention procedures.
• Professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Capability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
