Security Manager – Head of Security Department

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Security Manager to lead our Security Department. You will be responsible for creating a safe environment for employees, guests, and hotel assets while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management on security policies and ensure compliance with institutional, state and legal regulations.
• Maintain continuous security coverage across all hotel areas and property.
• Prepare and distribute security information, policies and procedures to managers and staff.
• Design and deliver specialised training for security officers and other personnel.
• Represent the hotel in meetings with external organisations on security matters.
• Investigate and record all crime allegations and incidents.
• Set and monitor annual security goals.
• Apply anti‑terrorist and bomb‑threat prevention procedures and lead emergency response.

Required profile

• Degree in security and crime management or equivalent licensed security professional experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, BHV or AED are a plus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strict adherence to procedures.
• Strong ability to motivate, direct teams and resolve security‑related problems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security equipment, policies, procedures and strategies.
