Security Officer – Property Patrol & Guest Assistance

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across all areas of the property. You will patrol the premises, assist guests with access, and respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all property areas and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries, and daily activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons and handle vehicle accident/theft scenes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property documents.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and confidentiality standards.
