Security Officer – Property Patrol & Guest Assistance

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across all areas of the property. You will patrol the premises, assist guests with access, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all property areas and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and resolve safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts, and call for assistance using proper codes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, run, and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Clear vision for reading small print and inspecting equipment.
• Ability to use computers and point‑of‑sale systems for reporting.
• First‑aid/CPR certification and any required local licensing.
• Professional appearance, strong communication, and adherence to company policies.
