Senior Accountant – Amman, Jordan

About the role

Almond Coffee House Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Team in Amman. The role will oversee the complete accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with Jordanian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and tax filings.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Support budgeting processes and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Jordanian accounting standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting position.
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and Jordanian financial regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and month‑end/year‑end processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in the food‑and‑beverage or hospitality sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
