Senior Accountant

About the role

Dallah Group is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department in Amman. The role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash‑flow management, and payroll review.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial statements and reports.
• Lead budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis activities.
• Execute tax calculations, statutory compliance, and audit schedule preparation.
• Handle journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and month‑end closing procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior‑level responsibilities.
• Proven experience with QuickBooks; candidates without hands‑on QuickBooks experience will not be considered.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls and high‑volume transaction processing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience preparing audit schedules.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
