Senior AI Engineer – Cloud & Document AI

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and integrate AI solutions on Google Cloud and Vertex AI. The role focuses on practical implementation of Document AI, OCR, and information extraction use cases for real‑world business scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure AI environments and services, especially Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
• Select, evaluate, and integrate suitable AI/ML and Generative AI models based on business needs.
• Connect AI solutions with APIs, databases, documents, and other data sources.
• Develop and validate AI use cases, proofs‑of‑concept, and production‑ready implementations.
• Test AI solutions, evaluate model outputs for accuracy, quality, and reliability.
• Design prompts and workflows for Generative AI and LLM‑based applications.
• Troubleshoot integrations and improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with strong AI focus.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
• Proven experience with Document AI, OCR, or intelligent document processing.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience working with APIs and diverse data sources.
• Good understanding of AI model evaluation, testing, and production deployment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
