Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team within the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in the United Arab Emirates. You will lead external audit engagements, build trust with stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality delivery across complex, multi‑entity audits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit referral instructions, clearly defining scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, coordinating delegated tasks and ensuring accurate information flow.
• Track deliverables from component auditors, linking risks, controls, procedures and findings in the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality assurance.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting judgments from audit judgments.
• Challenge audit timing assumptions and propose efficiencies where possible.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with clients and understand their service expectations.
• Strong awareness of regulatory impact, risk management, and business process controls.
• Experience in managing multi‑entity audit engagements and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering high‑quality, compliant audit work.
