Senior BIM Manager

About the role

KEO, an award-winning design and project management and construction firm, is looking for a Senior BIM Manager to join its Design team in Amman, Jordan. The role assists Design leadership in applying Digital Engineering and Digital Delivery across the division, leading information management, modeling and coordination using BIM workflows for concept, detailed and construction deliverables and maps.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct digital onboarding of team members and contribute to proposals and presentations.
• Develop concepts, review designs and models for feasibility, and resolve design gaps with stakeholders.
• Prepare digital deliverables for tender and construction projects under engineering direction.
• Manage small to mid-size projects, including cost estimates, tenders, submissions, technical documentation and client reports, while monitoring progress, schedule, resources, deadlines and budgets.
• Apply the Digital Delivery process, Digital Workplan / BEP and information requirements of projects.
• Maintain federated models with competent 3D modelling and oversee quality control of construction documents.
• Provide formal supervision to individual employees.

Required profile

• 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Proven track record in BIM, including creating and responding to EIRs, authoring or contributing to BEPs and setting up delivery mechanisms.
• Sound knowledge of local building codes, international building codes, LEED and other sustainability standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
• Advanced knowledge of Infraworks, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other discipline tools such as Dynamo, Revit, Python, Rhino and Grasshopper.
