About the role

Rapiscan Systems, a global leader in detection technology, is seeking a Senior Field Services Engineer to lead service delivery for advanced X‑ray inspection systems across Jordan. This hands‑on leadership position combines deep technical expertise with team management to ensure high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Service Engineers.
• Plan and coordinate service operations, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Install, commission, and support advanced X‑ray systems, ensuring compliance with safety and documentation standards.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor system performance with customers.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, provide technical guidance, and conduct failure analysis.
• Produce detailed technical reports and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience, preferably with high‑voltage or X‑ray equipment.
• Proven team‑leadership and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Jordan.

Required skills

• Experience with X‑ray or high‑voltage systems.
• PLC programming knowledge.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Use of diagnostic and failure‑analysis tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
