Senior FP&A Analyst – Commercial

About the role

The Senior FP&A Commercial & Sales Analyst acts as the finance business partner for the commercial engine, covering the entire sales cycle from demand planning to trade settlement. This role blends rigorous financial analysis with a practical understanding of FMCG product flow.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial view of the sales cycle (order‑to‑cash, sell‑in, sell‑out, returns).
• Partner with sales during Joint Business Planning to model volume, pricing, and listing fee impacts.
• Track and validate deductions, rebates, and credit notes against trade terms.
• Monitor DSO and support receivables management.
• Maintain a reconciled Net Revenue waterfall and perform monthly price/mix/volume analysis.
• Evaluate promotional mechanics and provide ROI assessments.
• Collaborate in S&OP to align financial forecasts with volume plans and build rolling commercial forecasts.
• Govern trade‑spend budget, build customer P&Ls, and develop ROI frameworks for trade investments.
• Prepare monthly commercial finance reviews, dashboards, and support annual budgeting and reforecast cycles.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with strong FP&A experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of FMCG commercial processes and sales cycles.
• Proven ability to partner with sales teams and influence commercial decisions.
• Experience in revenue, margin, and trade‑spend management.
