Senior Information Management Officer – Occupied Palestinian Territory

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Information Management Officer to lead data‑driven activities supporting its operations in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). Based in Amman, the officer will coordinate the collection, processing and analysis of humanitarian data, ensuring high‑quality information for programme planning and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement information management systems for field data collection and monitoring.
• Oversee GIS and remote‑sensing data acquisition, processing and mapping.
• Produce analytical reports, dashboards and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train and mentor field staff on data standards, tools and best practices.
• Ensure data security, quality control and compliance with donor requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in information management, geography, data science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development contexts, with a focus on data collection, management and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working in conflict‑affected or fragile settings, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
