Senior PHP Laravel Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior PHP Laravel developer to design, build and maintain back‑end solutions for web platforms and mobile applications. You will work closely with front‑end and UX teams to deliver secure, scalable APIs and ensure high performance in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain advanced web‑based applications and back‑end systems using Laravel.
• Design, integrate and maintain RESTful APIs to enable communication between systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for speed, security and scalability.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a PHP Laravel developer.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non‑relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
