Senior Presales Engineer - Cybersecurity

About the role

The Senior Presales Engineer – Cybersecurity drives end‑to‑end technical solutioning across enterprise security domains, aligning solutions with Saudi regulatory frameworks and customer risk objectives. The role partners closely with sales, account managers, OEMs and regional distributors to design, demonstrate and close complex security deals. It requires deep technical expertise and strong relationships within the Saudi cybersecurity ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales team to provide full technical presales assistance and achieve aggressive regional sales targets.
• Illustrate enterprise value, risk‑reduction and ROI of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to prospects.
• Align company capabilities with client business objectives and Saudi regulatory requirements (e.g., NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, PDPL).
• Lead and participate in RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, bid coordination, deep‑dive discovery, technical demonstrations and custom solution architectures.
• Promote and expand security opportunities within existing enterprise and government accounts in KSA.
• Design, execute and oversee Proof‑of‑Concept activities, phishing simulations and technical benchmarks.
• Maintain strong relationships with key cybersecurity vendors and local Value‑Added Distributors for joint account planning and rapid quote turnaround.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and VAD leads to identify emerging threat trends, generate leads and uncover new business opportunities.
• Act as a solution architect across market‑leading cybersecurity OEMs and specialized domains.
• Deliver regular security product enablement, threat landscape updates and solution training to internal sales teams.

Required profile

• Deep technical and architecture knowledge across enterprise cybersecurity domains, Zero Trust models and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, NCA ECC).
• Strong network and established professional relationships with local cybersecurity vendors (OEMs) and VADs in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent analytical, risk‑assessment, threat‑modeling and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comprehensive product and licensing knowledge across major cybersecurity OEMs and SecOps platforms.
• Proven consultative, value‑based technical selling and advisory capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with C‑level stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors and Compliance Officers.
